Geert founded Zalo Design Studio in July 2025 to build software that turns complex workflows into calm, capable tools.
Today the studio focuses on AI-native software systems and selected native products, bringing together product thinking, technical structure, and real-world workflow design.
MetaScope, the studio's flagship macOS product, grew from a personal need, a metadata editor powerful enough for serious photographers yet intuitive enough to stay out of the way. It demonstrates the same philosophy that shapes every Zalo engagement, software that is genuinely useful in everyday professional work.
Armature, the studio's acceleration system, came from the same place, a belief that the best software systems are not just fast to generate, they are well-shaped from the beginning.
Geert's approach is grounded in a simple belief, the best software products come from real-world experience, clear product thinking, and a deep understanding of how people actually work. AI expands what software can do, but the goal remains the same, to build products that feel calm, capable, and purposeful.
